Baltimore’s Return to Anime/Videogame Fun – The Miryokucon Convention
Miryokucon is guaranteed to be like no other show in this area. Baltimore’s return to Anime/Video Game Convention at Baltimore’s Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards on 9/29-10/1/2023. Our focus is to highlight local and regional artists/dealers/cosplayers/panelists. We want to represent the fan’s diversity in the region as well and build up from the ground roots up. Miryokucon will be promoted in almost every major media outlet including Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese and other Asian language newspapers; at other Asian festivals and Anime conventions and central events; area universities and colleges; and draw people from all over the mid-Atlantic states.

We are open to working with any in-kind donation. Materials, goods, services and venue donations are greatly appreciated for any event pre-show, during show, or at the after-party. In-kind donations with dollar values equivalent to Sponsorship Levels will receive the same sponsorship package of that level. Please contact us to see how we help best collaborate.

Miryokucon’s mission is to help rebuild Baltimore’s Anime/Video Game community after Otakon left for Washington, DC. Our attendees are creative and passionate about Anime/Video Games. By reaching into Miryokucon’s market, you are reaching into the young adult demographic. Our audience is more likely to crave in person experiences to show off their creativity.

Our expected demographics are 55% female and 45% male who are 18-34 years old. Expected average income between $40-$50,000 per year. We expect about 55% white, 30% African-American, 10% Hispanic and 5% other. Our expectations are 600-800 unique attendees (1 badge, 1 attendee) and 1000 turnstyle type audience members.
